Aussie home owners are going wild over a new cleaning hack that promises to transform your fly screens - using a very unlikely buy.

Sharing on a popular Facebook group, mums have revealed how they’re using WD-40 spray to make their screens look brand new again.

With this hack, you simply spray some WD-40 onto a Chux or cleaning cloth and then rub it over fly screen gauze

One Facebook user shared before and after photographs of the amazing results she achieved, which left hundreds blown away.

“What in the world! It’s like it disappeared. That’s amazing,” said one on the Mums Who Clean Facebook page .

Another wrote: “Wow! It doesn’t even look like the fly screen is there any more!”

A third added: “So great! although I hope people don’t walk straight into it now because it’s so clean.”

Others were keen to give the hack a go.

“Unbelievable. Thank you will do this to our screens,” one Facebook user responded.

Another said: “I have to give this a go. Ours is in a pretty bad way due to all the dust and dirt floating around due to the road works going on here in WA at the moment. Yours looks awesome.”
