Häfele, an international manufacturer and supplier of furniture fittings and architectural hardware, has introduced Weatherfold 100 EF, an external end-fixing sliding-folding system which caters to multiple weight carrying capacities ranging from 50 kg to 100 kg per door and can carry doors which are up to 1000 mm wide and 3000 mm high. 

In addition to the sliding hardware being highly durable and corrosion resistant it is also ‘Secured by Design’ where the intermediate hanger hinge, bottom guides and pivot come with a unique, non-removal pin technology that guarantees enhanced security.

This system can be teamed with Häfele’s Retractable Pleated Insect Screen to provide a holistic external solution. The Insect screen is extremely simple to operate and can be stacked neatly away when not in use. It is compatible for installation with windows, folding doors, sliding and French / Patio door applications.
